WE ARE A MAGNET

“I will give myself the gift of forgiveness by forgiving someone else.”

The deeper reason for patience, kindness and forgiveness is that it heals the heart of the one that gives them. Our kindness and forgiveness toward others is our gift to us. What we give is what we receive.

The truth of us is not in a far away land, nor is it in the distant future.  It’s right here and right now;  our immediate gift from God. All we need to do to experience it is to grow still and look inside our own heart. And then smile and be thankful for all the good in our life.

And let’s remember, we are magnetic.
What we offer to the world is what we attract to ourselves.

LET’S STAY HOME TODAY

“I will live in this moment, Now.”

A simple prayer for this and every day.

Now that I’m on the other side of yesterday,
I feel the possibilities for peace.
Now that I’m on this side of tomorrow,
I see the hopefulness of joy.
Now that I am in the center of this moment,
I see the certainty of Love.

Yesterday is gone.
Tomorrow isn’t here.
Now is all there is.

NOW is the Home of Love and Peace and Joy.
I want to stay Home today.  Amen.

OPINIONS ARE NOT DIAMONDS

“Perception rests, the mind is still, and light returns again. Vision is now restored. What had been lost has now been found. The peace of God descends on all the world, and we can see. And we can see!”  A Course In Miracles

“I will not worship my opinions today.”

Our opinions are so important to us that we actually feel defined by them. We collect them like precious diamonds and hoard them in the recesses of our mind. We consider them to be more important than our happiness. More valuable than inner peace.  We cherish them above our health and joy. We feel that our power is in our judgments, our opinions and beliefs. History shows that many have willingly died for them.

We don’t understand that it is our opinions that are keeping us trapped in this narrow place of fear. It is our judgments that are the cause of all our stress and our unhappiness.

These thoughts that we value so highly are based upon a vision and a perception so limited and so small that if we were honest with ourselves, we would gladly say, I don’t really know anything for sure.  And thereby free ourselves for miracles of wondrous delight.

Today let’s make a choice to open our mind and heart to a better way.  We deserve it.  We deserve to be happy and confident and free of fear.  Let’s unclench our fists, our jaw, our mind and make a real change.  Let’s choose peace for no reason.  Joy for the hell of it.  Laughter just because.  For no reason on earth, let’s just be happy.

Do we really think God wants us to live and die for an opinion? And now as we choose again we will see what we have overlooked before.  Opinions are not diamonds. But diamonds of joyous wonder are seen and experienced in the clear and open mind; in the kind and gentle heart.

BE WHERE YOU ARE

“I will BE where I am today.”

Maybe we think we should be somewhere else, having a different experience.  Or are we exactly where we need to be right now?  If we can accept our present path with a peaceful heart, change will come naturally and flow with ease.  Sometimes we can’t see the miracles until the moment has passed. Or we can, if we wish, live mindfully in each moment and experience our walk through life as a living, breathing adventure filled with self discovery.

In the morning we can say this prayer, “Thank you for this new day and this new opportunity for peace and healing.”  In the evening, we can say this prayer, “Thank you for this amazing day and all the miracles that led me through it.”

And then as we rest for the night, instead of mulling over every problem, every grievance, every ache and pain, we can count miracles and turn an ordinary day into an extraordinary day. The beauty of this is that the power to choose our world lies smack dab inside of us.

Together, let’s we walk through this day with joy and gratitude.

REMEMBER YOUR HOLINESS

“… in God’s eyes your loveliness is so complete and flawless that He sees in it an image of Himself.” Paraphrased from ACIM

“I am God’s Love and Peace and Joy.”

Sometimes fear just happens. We may look around at our lives in a given moment and try to understand what we’re afraid of.  With caution we note, nothing is really wrong right now.  Does this mean that something bad is going to happen?  Or is happening and we just don’t know it yet? Or is it possible, that our unremembered past is haunting us?  Is God giving us a lesson?  Or punishing us for something?

Or is it none of the above? Perhaps it’s just an opportunity we’ve presented to ourselves to forgive and surrender everything to God.  If we feel lost in a temporary morass of fear and dark thinking, all we need tell ourselves is, “This is not necessary.  Whatever this fear is,  it certainly can’t be from God.  God doesn’t make fear, He only dispels it.” And then we surrender it to Him.

So let’s begin breathing gently into the senseless fear and fill it with Love. Let’s remind ourselves as we breathe in and out slowly and mindfully, that we are the light of the world deserving of love and joy and peace.  And more than deserving of these things we are these things. We, as God’s creations, ARE Love and Joy and Peace. There is no opposite to God except in our limited thinking.

Let’s smile with gratitude and relief at the understanding that no matter how dark things look or feel, the truth of us is something else.  And that something else is Love because God is only LOVE. And we belong to Him.

THE PERFECT WORLD

“… and the remembrance of God shines unimpeded across the world. God’s face is seen in every living thing and nothing is held in darkness, apart from the light of forgiveness.  There is no sorrow still upon the earth.  The joy of Heaven has come upon it. Vision is wholly corrected and all mistakes undone.  Attack is meaningless and peace has come. All living hearts are tranquil with a stir of deep anticipation for the time of everlasting things is now at hand. There is no death. The Children of God are free.”  A Course In Miracles

“Today I choose a life governed by Love and seen through laughing eyes.”

Imagine a world where laughter is the universal language. Where peace is common and joy lights our path. A world where fear is not part of the vocabulary. In this world every day begins with a smile and every heart is calm and quiet.  In this exciting world, Angels fly about and carry us wherever we need to go. We can parasail from a cliff side with perfect safety or dive into the depths of the ocean and view the wonders without concerns for pollution because we have learned to respect and value all of nature.

Everyone is familiar here, not just familiar, but known as dear siblings. We have a clear understanding of unconditional love and we happily pay it forward to all the world. Every day is a celebration and an experience of delight. Danger, sickness, scarcity, war and death are gone from our thinking. Health, abundance and perfect safety are the norm. Jobs are unnecessary now because everything is shared. Prisons are a thing of the past because everyone is only kind and loving toward everyone else. We all know our greater purpose and we love giving to each other without the need for thank you’s. The reason thank you is unnecessary is because gratitude flows from us as naturally as breathing.

Our skills are appreciated by everyone and we all work together. Those who love to plant, plant the food and the flowers and the trees and then gift them to the rest of us. Those who enjoy cooking make our mouths water with their delicious concoctions. Food is healthy and plentiful. There is no such thing as hunger because, remember, everything is shared. Those who love to paint pictures do so with a loving heart and the art is so powerful it takes our breath away. Those who love to act and sing and dance and make music gift their talents to the rest of us and bring us joy with their moving performances. Those who love to write, write the most amazing poetry and stories beyond anything we’ve ever known because it comes from their deepest and most holy place. A place we aren’t even aware of now. Those who love to serve, serve only God and He guides them in their service to all others.

Those who love to invent things are honored for their skills and their inventions are provided to everyone without question and everyone without question is grateful for the sharing of these gifts. Those who love sports perform with ease. Every skill is an art and comes from the highest Loving place within us. Boredom doesn’t exist because we are all too busy being happy and doing what we love best, writing, reading, working with our hands. Whatever it is we love to do is only what we do. Televisions, cell phones and computers are only used for sharing good news and for teaching us about the wonders of the greater world and the worlds beyond this one. Judgment is gone. Attack?  Defense? Unnecessary.

Competition is an archaic tradition now because everyone does everything for the artistry and the pure pleasure of it. No stress and no disappointment is involved because there are no losers. In this new world everyone wins. There are no extremes in nature because nature is governed by our kindness and compassion. Our loving thoughts tame tornados and tsunamis and make earthquakes and floods impossible.  Death is over.

Seem inconceivable? If so, it’s only because we can’t wrap our mind around the possibility that there is another way, another world, another experience that we are denying and closing off. And we don’t understand how powerful we are and how real God is. If our intentions are for a beautiful utopia and if our minds are open and accepting and ready to share and to live in Love, then it must happen.

God is not impossible. God simply is. And we can choose how to see each moment and each person in our lives. What holds us back is only fear. Fear takes a thousand forms, but in the end, it’s only a decision. We can surrender fear and forgive its cause whatever that may be and then choose God instead. If we all did this, in time we would be experiencing a healthy, holy, laughing, loving, abundant and glorious world.

Afraid of change?  Afraid of sacrificing the things we like about this world the way it is? What if we could try this new world for just a day?  Would we really come back to the darkness and density and pain and suffering we know now?

The power in the joining of the minds and hearts of God’s Creations in Love is beyond what we can comprehend. But who needs to understand? We just need to choose Love and trust God to take care of the rest. And we need to do this a moment at a time, an hour at a time, a day at time. The more consistently we choose God, the more beautiful becomes our world.

LET LOVE LEAD THE WAY

Today I will let God show me how to be helpful.”

“All are chosen. Few choose to answer.” from A Course In Miracles

We are so intent on believing we have to do something in the world that we run frantically here and there trying to fix things from our limited understanding.  This inevitably leads to mistakes.  We keep making the same errors over and over and then expecting different results. It isn’t our business to fix ourselves or the world.  Our business is to open our minds and hearts to God’s Love within us and allowing Him to fix things. Once we understand this, we will see great transformation in our lives and before long in the world.  God is the power of Love and we must forget everything but that.  Only Love can make the necessary corrections for healing us and the world. We just have to let it happen.

Don’t be deceived into thinking that God will just do things like magic tricks.  What God does is presents us with opportunities to be truly helpful.  It’s up to us to choose to follow His guidance.  When we do we will find that we have never been busier or more filled with joy.  In God’s busyness we are never overwhelmed or frantic or in doubt about anything.  In God’s busyness, there are only calm and quiet miracles which create hugely loving changes.

We’ve tried it our way.  Over and over and over. How many times have we said, “I’ve tried everything and nothing has worked.”  So why don’t we just stop trying and allow the Divine Universe to lift everything from us so true transformation can happen. Now are we truly helpful.

WINDOW OF TRUTH

“I will let God do His job today.”

One moment there may be a spark of joy, but it isn’t long before that is squashed by darker feelings of impending doom.  We tell ourselves with and without words that we don’t deserve the joy.  And if we look around it certainly seems as though it’s true. All the suffering and the wars and the lack of this and that build a picture in our mind that since this is the way it is, it must be what we are entitled to. And we have these inner conversations that convince us that our pain is absolutely deserved.  Or if not deserved then certainly we must be innocent victims of an insane world.

There is enough judgment, anger, fear, sadness, suffering, guilt, attack and blame in the world without our joining in the din like children pounding on a pot with a wooden spoon crying, “I know what’s going on and it isn’t good. Not only is it not good, but it’s all your fault!”

We can’t stop the insanity by shaking our fist at it. Or by accepting ourselves as less than we are. We peer fearfully through a dirty window and then believe, not in the window, but in the dirt. Following the advice of our small minds is how we become part of the problem instead of part of the solution. This is our time for stillness and for listening to He Who knows what we don’t.  We are the window, not the dirt!

The way to know if we’re mistaken is to ask ourselves these questions:
Is this thought coming from love?

Is this thought kind? Compassionate? Forgiving?
Are we letting God be in charge of the world?
Or are we trying to do His job?

ONLY LOVE CAN HEAL THE WORLD

“Let me trust in Love today.”

How do we look at situations like the tornado in Oklahoma and suffering throughout the world?  How do we make any sense of it?  The answer is we can’t make sense of it. Such devastation is beyond human comprehension. But we don’t need to understand it to be helpful. There are many ways to lend a hand when terrible things happen in the world.  And many, many people do. That is what creates miracles from devastation.

But the most powerful way we can help is by asking God for guidance. And by giving Him our fear.  If we are experiencing fear and sadness in any form, we cannot be our most helpful.  God does not cause devastation, but He stands beside each one of us and offers Love.  And so to be helpful in the highest sense, we must accept His Love and send that to Oklahoma.

Fear and Love are both energy working in opposite directions.  Fear is what causes devastation.  Love is what heals it.  We don’t need to understand tragedy in order to be willing to be a channel for peace in the world.  We need only be willing to be at peace in our own mind and that energy will send comfort and healing to Oklahoma and everywhere where there is suffering and war and hunger and hopelessness.

If we want to help Oklahoma in the most powerful way possible, we must forgive our brother and our sister, our mother and our father. We have to forgive our friend and our co-worker and the guy who cuts us off in traffic. And we must forgive everyone whose political and religious beliefs are not our own.  And then we must forgive ourselves for every mistake we believe we have made.  Forgiveness is only letting go of all judgments and attachments to this world and giving them to God so He can correct them and then return them to us pure and healed. When our thoughts are clean and clear, God can use us as a conduit and a channel to heal all the fearful minds and hearts throughout the world and in our neighborhood and in our home. When our thoughts and hearts are pure and loving, God can use that energy to prevent devastation in the future.

Our fear brings chaos.
Our willingness to forgive brings healing.
Our fear causes suffering and pain and scarcity.
Our Love is the channel for God’s correction and His holy abundance.

CHOOSING WISELY

“I will choose wisely today.”

The body is simply a channel for communication and nothing more. So what do we want to communicate?

Health or sickness?

Joy or fear?

Peace or anxiety?

Abundance or poverty?

Love or hate?

What we choose to communicate will be our experience.  So let’s choose wisely.

GREAT EXPECTATIONS

“I expect only good things today.”

When we look into the future and focus on the unknown, we have a tendency to assume the worst is about to befall us. As we watch things unfold, it almost always comes into our mind that it won’t be going our way.  Our way, of course, being what we would perceive in our limited thinking as the “right” way.  So let’s take a moment to turn that thinking around.  Let’s assume that whatever hints we get about the future are going to bring “good news”.  Let’s trust that healing is happening no matter how it may look or feel to us at this moment.

As blessed children of a Loving God, we must believe in a beautiful experience so we can be open to it. In God the possibility for miracles and holy instants are not just possibilities, but inevitabilities. It’s inevitable that we should be happy.  It is pre-ordained that we have a joyous life. Let’s take it for granted that God is Love and anything other than God simply isn’t possible.

And now we can walk lightly through our day with a smile of joyous expectation on our face.

GET OFF THE CROSS; WE NEED THE WOOD

“I see myself as holy, whole and healed today.”

Crucifixion today is not of the body, but of the spirit. We crucify ourselves or someone else every day.

Every time we demean or judge someone or ourselves, we place ourselves upon the cross.

Every unhappy moment, guilty feeling or negative thought is an unholy instant on the cross.

To give and to receive are the same. There is a clear and definite connection between our thoughts, our actions, our words, our intentions, our expectations and our own experience. We draw to ourselves what we give out. Some call it karma; some call it cause and effect. It can’t be avoided. To hurt another is to hurt ourselves. To bless, celebrate and join lovingly with another is to do the same for us.

Isn’t it time we climb off the cross and release our brothers and sisters as well?  Why suffer when God’s will for us is happiness, pure and simple. Let’s focus today on the resurrection as we choose to be lifted into the place in our mind where only peace and joy abide. As we allow healing Love to flow through us and fill us, nothing will remain in our sight or in our experience, but God’s holy light. It is in His Light that we can truly serve our purpose here as an instrument of peace for ourselves and the world. As we allow God’s Light to shine away our dark and fearful thoughts, we are then allowing ourselves to become who we are meant to be.

Together we can now walk in the light of our own being.
Resurrected, Holy, Whole and Healed.

A NEW YET ANCIENT WORLD

“I believe that all things are possible for me.”

Do you hear that sound?
That deep and freeing sound of joyous laughter?
That’s you!

Laugh until your sides ache.
Laugh until your spirit heals and your senses are filled
With an amazing feeling of heavenly wonder.

Let your perception shift and see a world beside the one that you believed in a moment ago.
Now believe in this new and better world where all things are possible and only goodness lives.

It’s nothing new, really.
It’s simply the Divine Universe.
It’s your home where you belong.

WRITE, PRODUCE AND DIRECT YOUR LIFE

“I will write and direct a loving life for myself.”

Let’s think of our life as a play.  We are the writer, the producer, the director and the main character.  We have total control of how our play will go.  If we don’t like how our main character is acting out his/her part we can re-write it, re-produce it and re-direct it. The changes for our play’s character are all within our mind.  As we act differently, more lovingly, so do all the other characters react differently to us.

If we’re acting out a scene where we’re having a disagreement with another character, we can re-write our part and choose another tactic for our character.  Our character can look at the other character and choose to see him/her in a different way.  More kindly.  More compassionately.  More open mindedly.  And as our thinking changes so will our dialogue. As our dialogue changes so will the dialogue of the other character.

In this sense all dialogue is connected. The other character may speak first and then we respond.  Whatever we respond with will affect the tone of the story and what the other character says or does next.  If we respond calmly, quietly and with kindness, the other character will feel that and will probably calm down as well.  If we’re in a sour mood and project that onto the scene, the other character will react to our angry or unhappy words in a corresponding way.  But then it’s our turn again.  Even if we began the unhappy scenario, we have the choice to change it instantly.  “I’m sorry.  I’m just in a bad mood.  Let’s start over.”

If we feel the other character is being unjust we don’t have to allow our character to defend itself. We can simply leave the stage. We can remind ourselves, “I don’t have to be a part of this. What he/she is saying is not true so what’s the point of my joining in and escalating the drama?”

The beauty of being in control of our play is that we can change the atmosphere and the storyline or even leave the stage any time we choose.  Now, that’s power.

GARGLE AND LET GO

In this cold and flu season we are reminded of what A Course In Miracles teaches; that “all sickness is a defense against the truth”.  Meaning an ego distraction to keep us believing we are bodies and at the mercy of a world designed to make us sick leaving us no choice but to catch what’s going around while we frantically take every preventative measure to keep ourselves and our children healthy.  The Course teaches that we are not bodies, but Spirit created by God and at any time we could simply stand up and say, “I have no need of this,” and we would be healed instantly.  Of course we must believe what we are saying and have perfect trust in Him.

The Course also teaches that we should take whatever measures necessary, doctors, vitamins, shots, medication, even surgery to aid us in our body’s healing while we are practicing believing that the power of wellness is in our mind.  We should not try to heal ourselves because our fear is too great.  But that fear can’t stop us from opening our minds and wondering if just perhaps the power of God within us can cure, not only what ails us, but what ails the world.

Why not try a new practice that I call gargle and let go. Let’s take our vitamins and preventative and corrective healing measures, but instead of seeing them as ways to avoid or heal the body’s sickness, let’s see them as symbols of our willingness to be well.  Well in spirit, mind and body. As with anything it takes lots of practice to see sickness differently, but even as we experience sickness or weakness we can choose to see through the pain and discomfort to the light of God’s Love on the other side.  It may not make us feel better immediately, but at least we will be considering that there may just be another way of looking at the body. And that’s all God asks of us.

“I am not a victim of the world I see.”  A Course In Miracles

I AM NOT A BODY

“I will remember my power for decision is in my mind.”

We are not a body.  We may think we are as we dress it in the morning.  As we give it aspirin for a head-ache and feel its aches and pains.  We may think we are as we get into our car and drive defensively to work and experience the irritation of being cut off in traffic.  We may think we are as we feed it to curb its hunger.  We may think that just because it bleeds and its heart appears to be broken from lost love and it feels good when someone hugs it, that it is us.

Somehow we have come to believe that the body makes the decision for us.  Decisions about sickness and health.  Decisions about where to go and how to be in the world.  Decisions about life and death.  And yet God tells us the body is just a tool. A tool for His Loving communication in the world.  It is a tool for sharing His kindness.  A tool for extending His love. A tool through which our spirit mind’s compassion can come through.

The body is our transportation through the world. It is our puppet on a string which we can use in two ways.  Lovingly or fearfully. But the love and fear are what run our life, not our body. The love is of God and the fear is of the ego. If we respect our body and use it lovingly, it will serve us well, but we must not think for an instant that it is all we are.  The body has no power on its own to accomplish good or bad.

The body is merely the instrument through which we serve.  It is a clear vessel waiting to be filled. Fill it with God’s light and it is wholly innocent and wholly pure.  Use it for the ego’s purpose and it becomes murky and confused. As we use our bodies wisely, we must never forget our mind, our spirit mind, is where our power lies. It is there we make our choices and our decisions for how to be in this world. And then the body does whatever we tell it to.

May you travel lightly through your spirit mind today and love your body as an instrument for peace and nothing more.

BE LIKE A NEWBORN BABY

“Like a newborn, I will trust in God.”

A newborn baby comes into the world with no preconceived ideas, no judgments of anyone or anything. It is simply open and ready for whatever life brings.  Someone picks her up and takes her here or there and the baby just allows. She doesn’t question or fight but simply accepts being carried, fed, changed, and bathed. How would that feel to entirely let go of control? Terrifying? Or a great relief?

What do the babies have that we don’t?  Trust. They trust us completely. If we were to trust God as a new baby trusts its parents, we would finally know what freedom is.

May you trust in God today knowing that He is in charge and you are safe and all your problems have been solved.

BREAK THROUGH THE PRISON BARS OF FEAR

“I will leave all the judging to God.”

When we watch the news instead of feeling fearful, let’s do something radical. Let’s offer a blessing for everyone portrayed. Let’s bless the victim and the perpetrator.  Remember, the victim wouldn’t be a victim if the perpetrator understood who he/she was, a Child of God, a Loving Creation, a Beautiful Being. Crimes only happen because people are angry and fearful and don’t believe God loves them.

Let’s tell them God loves them through our prayers. Whether or not they hear us is not our business. Choosing Love instead of hate, deciding for forgiveness instead of judgment is what will bring us peace. Being kind and compassionate for everyone is aligning with God’s laws. It is not condoning violence to forgive.  Forgiveness is simply freeing ourselves of fear and letting God be in charge. That’s where our power lies. Let’s let God do the judging while we simply choose to rest in His loving strength and offer peace to all the world.

Our choice to hate and judge keeps us in prison.  This is not a new thought, but it is a thought we need to incorporate into our hearts if we truly want to be healed and to help heal the world. No one is exempt from God’s Love. It is we who close the prison door on Him and trap ourselves inside. So it must be we who open that door and free ourselves for a full and loving life.

May you walk in freedom and in peace today knowing that God loves everyone.

GOD BLESS US ALL

“I will vote for God today.”

When we let our egos govern our life,  our country and our world, we will find conflict and see unhappiness and injustice around us.  Because we are blinded by our fear thinking, we may, for convenience sake or for the purpose of being “right”, grab onto dissenting thoughts from the media or other sources and simply choose to see the false as true because it benefits our party.  Or we may choose the false or partially factual because it makes sense in a political system of separation and opposition.  It is easy to get caught up in party power which blinds us from true governing which is unifying and healing and the desire for what’s best for all.

In God there is no hierarchy. We may have different positions in the world where some have the responsibility for governing others, but unless those who govern do so with kindness, respect,  compassion and prayer, it isn’t true governing.  It is simply overpowering the will of others for a purpose less than holy.

It is tempting to allow our political beliefs to magnify our differences instead of remembering the ways we are the same. We are holy children of a Loving God having a human experience with needs and desires that are the same.  We all want to be happy.  We all want to be healthy.  We all want to be safe. We all want to enjoy God’s plenty. There is only one Who can govern in perfect Love and unless we are following His guidance, we can’t possibly know what is best for all.

In the spirit of Oneness, with hearts full of gratitude and true forgiveness, absolute trust and joyous love, let’s surrender the  country and the world to Him and watch this unstable and unhappy place transform into perfection where nothing else exists, but God’s grace and peace and joyous abundance for all.  Now we have made the choice to let go of petty power struggles and negative judgments. Instead we have chosen to join our Holy power in Oneness with our Divine Creator. Instead of allowing ourselves to be torn apart by nonsense thinking, we are now blessing our families, our neighborhoods, our communities, our country and our world.

And we can imagine God breathing a sigh of relief as He whispers into our hearts, “Thank you, my beloved children.  It is time for a new way of thinking.”

PRAYER FOR THE TIMES

We can change the energy that causes suffering by offering energy that creates Love. Below is a prayer that can be used in part or in full at any time.

Where there are wars being waged anywhere in the world …
I see only forgiveness and God’s healing peace.

Where there is hunger and scarcity and joblessness …
I see only forgiveness and God’s abundance for all.

Where there is injustice in any form …
I see only forgiveness and God’s gentle, kind and loving justice.

Where there is sickness in any form …
I see only forgiveness and God’s health and well being.

Where there is violence or disconnection in the home and in the world …
I see only forgiveness and God’s holy healed relationships.

Where there is danger anywhere in the world …
I see only forgiveness and God’s safety and protection.

Where there is disharmony and imbalance in the earth’s atmosphere …
I see only forgiveness and God’s harmony and balance gently setting all nature right.

Where there is suffering in the world …
I see only forgiveness and God’s joyous expression in each heart.

Where there is fear in any form …
I see only forgiveness and God’s healing touch removing all darkness from each mind and heart.

Where there is a world in peril …
I see only forgiveness and myself letting go of all my judgments
As I allow God’s laws to govern all things from this moment on.

Amen.
