“Like a newborn, I will trust in God.”
A newborn baby comes into the world with no preconceived ideas, no judgments of anyone or anything. It is simply open and ready for whatever life brings. Someone picks her up and takes her here or there and the baby just allows. She doesn’t question or fight but simply accepts being carried, fed, changed, and bathed. How would that feel to entirely let go of control? Terrifying? Or a great relief?
What do the babies have that we don’t? Trust. They trust us completely. If we were to trust God as a new baby trusts its parents, we would finally know what freedom is.
May you trust in God today knowing that He is in charge and you are safe and all your problems have been solved.
