We can change the energy that causes suffering by offering energy that creates Love. Below is a prayer that can be used in part or in full at any time.
Where there are wars being waged anywhere in the world …
I see only forgiveness and God’s healing peace.
Where there is hunger and scarcity and joblessness …
I see only forgiveness and God’s abundance for all.
Where there is injustice in any form …
I see only forgiveness and God’s gentle, kind and loving justice.
Where there is sickness in any form …
I see only forgiveness and God’s health and well being.
Where there is violence or disconnection in the home and in the world …
I see only forgiveness and God’s holy healed relationships.
Where there is danger anywhere in the world …
I see only forgiveness and God’s safety and protection.
Where there is disharmony and imbalance in the earth’s atmosphere …
I see only forgiveness and God’s harmony and balance gently setting all nature right.
Where there is suffering in the world …
I see only forgiveness and God’s joyous expression in each heart.
Where there is fear in any form …
I see only forgiveness and God’s healing touch removing all darkness from each mind and heart.
Where there is a world in peril …
I see only forgiveness and myself letting go of all my judgments
As I allow God’s laws to govern all things from this moment on.
Amen.
Thank you, Sharie…..and Thank you, God. Thank you for these words. My words also…Thank you, God.
Love you, Sharie,
sis, Pat

Pat Dear, I find I can no longer tolerate a world where forgiveness isn’t the first choice. And so as we pray for those on the East coast going through Hurricane Sandy, and for all our brothers and sisters everywhere, let’s do it with a forgiving heart. A forgiving heart is an open heart. Open to miracles. Open to healing. Open to the safety and well being of our brothers and sisters everywhere. And open to our own glorious light as instruments of peace and servants of God. Love you, Sis Sharie

Most world religions include teachings on the nature of forgiveness, and many of these teachings provide an underlying basis for many varying modern day traditions and practices of forgiveness. Some religious doctrines or philosophies place greater emphasis on the need for humans to find some sort of divine forgiveness for their own shortcomings, others place greater emphasis on the need for humans to practice forgiveness of one another, yet others make little or no distinction between human and divine forgiveness.

God’s forgiveness goes beyond doctrines and human philosophies. It is the key that opens us to our Divine existence and True Happiness. It is the Letting Go and Letting God. Not condoning or condemning, but simply letting go and letting God. When God’s allowed to be in charge true healing happens. God bless you. Peace, Sharie
