Sending Joy

Silence is often a dark and scary place for us.  We want to fill it with noise, voices, music, anger, judgment, sound of any kind. Even violence for some is better than the stillness and the silence of the unknown place within. And yet until we embrace the silence we will never know what we are missing. 

What are we missing? Everything. 

Only in the silence can we join with God and see for ourselves all the gifts we want and own, but have forgotten. 

We think death lives in the silence. But in truth it is life. 

May you rest, rejoice and rejuvenate in the silence of your own truth and walk a peaceful path today knowing that the only thing that silence will reveal are God’s gifts of Love and Joy.

“I will pay attention to my blessings today.”

Life can be a series of lovely moments which often are unrecognized, unappreciated and misunderstood. We simply don’t understand the essence of time and therefore don’t know how to use it to our advantage.

Breathe in each moment as though smelling a lovely flower. Instead of rushing through life always stressed and feeling behind, let’s allow time to unfold like a panorama of amazing opportunities. Let’s unclench our minds, smile gently and allow life to happen in its own miraculous and natural way. Rather than getting anxious and stressed as we try, usually unsuccessfully, to manipulate time let’s try to go with the flow a little more. Just because we can’t see the outcome of our experiences, does not mean that the end has to be a disaster or at the very least, something less then positive and loving. As we give each moment to God and let Him be in charge of the beginning, middle and end of every happening, we can find peace even in the most challenging events. God and His Love are far more powerful than fear. His Love can transform every situation from one of pain to one of joy. In giving all to God, we are now owning time instead of letting time own us.

Slow down. Not just our actions but our thinking. If we invite God into every moment, we will see our perception change from worry and anxiety to relief and calm acceptance. We can bless each moment as a miracle and be grateful for the time we have. For now time is filled, not with stress, but with Love. Instead of serving time, time is serving us.

When we live in the moment mindfully, life is beautiful. And time becomes our friend.

I love the word free.  It feels so … freeing.  Free from fear.  Free from sickness.  Free from pain and suffering and anger and sadness.  Free! Free! Free!

Free to forgive.  Free to love.  Free to share. Free to join with all others in the great Oneness of our being.

Free to smile. Free to laugh. Free to jump up and down with joy. Free to bow our heads with quiet gratitude in our own way.

Free to open our hearts and let love in.  Free to shine our light upon everyone that comes before us. 

Free to walk the earth with a happy heart.  Free to know that God’s laws rule and all is well with the world. 

Let’s bask in it. Let’s rest in it. Let’s play in it.  

Let’s let freedom ring so loud our ears hurt. Let’s sing freedom songs at the top of our lungs. Let’s dance with the wild abandon of the free spirit.

Let’s jump in the freedom puddle and splash freedom all over us. Let’s leap from the freedom cliff and watch ourselves fly free. Let’s float on freedom and sink into freedom.

Let’s rejoice in freedom as we celebrate freedom; ours and everyone’s.  After all, it’s free!

God gave us free will.  Not to use it to tie ourselves to darkness and pain, but to allow ourselves to be free!

“My heart is open for healing.”

There is a love that, like moonlit ripples upon a silver pond, cannot be stopped, but only watched in awe and gratitude and then allowed to spread and be shared with all. Stars, too many to count join with the moon’s light as they, as one source, emblazon the skies. Darkness disappears and a look of ethereal beauty is upon the earth. Healing from this light born from love, radiates throughout the universe and touches each heart that is open and ready.

“You are as God created you. And as it was His Thought by which you were created, so it is your thoughts which [you] must set free, that you may know the Thoughts you share with God.” A Course In Miracles

“I will let God conduct this train today.”

Fear is letting the ego lead us on a journey toward a train wreck.  And then another and another. So why go there? There is another train, you know. Another depot. And another Conductor.

To know that we have the power to be at peace no matter how the world looks to us brings us hope and lifts our spirits. And to know that we have God’s loving guidance to help us along the way is also empowering.  We know we are never alone, right? Or do we sometimes forget? In some circumstances it simply doesn’t seem possible that God can be conducting this moment. Or that person.

What if we understood that fear is not our reality? Think of the power in that single thought. Now let’s say this together; “If it feels like fear in any form, it simply isn’t real.”  We have stressed before that only God is real and God is all there is and He is only Love.  Therefore, if we are experiencing anything other than Love we must be making a mistake. We’ve gotten off the track of God’s intention for us. Pure and simple.  So let’s lay our fears before His feet and rest our mind in His.  This takes a leap of faith. After all much of the time it feels as though that train which is our life, is not only off the track, but heading toward a cliff!

How can I trust in Him when I lost my job? How can I believe He’s here when my relationship is on the rocks?  How can God be conducting this body that is sick and weak? When I’ve lost a loved one? When the news is disastrous every day?  What we cannot see is that when the fear train rushes over a cliff, our Holy Conductor becomes a Pilot. And now the train is a plane!  God does not cause disasters, pain or suffering but He carries us beyond them and shows us how to transform a mess into a miracle.

It’s exciting to know that a new and better world is happening right here, right now no matter how it looks. And it all begins with a single loving, helpful Thought from God. Now we can see clearly that we’re back on track again and all is well.
