“I choose the wonder of Oneness today.”

This holiday season is the perfect time to choose to take our separated drop and plop it into the Ocean of God’s perfect Love. And join with our brothers and sisters with peace filled thoughts and joyous extensions of loving energy toward all.  That is ONENESS.

We must exclude no one and nothing in this and our gifts will be miracles of wondrous experience pouring down about us.  And together we can splash happily in the puddles of joy that our raining miracles produce and peace will fill our hearts. Then we can rest in the understanding that God is Love and God is all there is.  That is ONENESS

We can experience our Oneness through: 
Random acts of kindness  
Compassionate thoughts 
Smiles for strangers  
Hugs for the children
Patience and tolerance
Smiles and laughter 
Sharing and caring 
Giving and living
Blessing and praying
Stilling our thoughts and listening …

We can experience our Oneness by seeing the world as blessed.
And blessing the world we see no matter how it looks.

By believing that God’s power is the power of Love and Love is All He Is and therefore the only thing that’s true.  

No matter how it looks here, or how it feels inside us, we must TRUST that God can make the corrections to heal everyone and all things. But we must open our hearts and minds and let God in. And then let God’s Love flow through us. And know His will for us is only Happiness.

And when we combine our power and do this together all that’s left is ONENESS.

“Giving and receiving are the same.” A Course In Miracles

“To everyone I offer love and joy today.”

The acts of giving and receiving are governed by the same law.

Giving and receiving under God’s laws are not the same as in the world’s. In the world if we give a gift, it’s gone from our possession and now belongs to someone else. That blouse, that tie, that CD or DVD has been given away. They are out of our life and we cannot have them back. But God’s gifts cannot be given away without being kept. His gifts belong to everyone and all at once.

If we want peace of mind, we must give it to someone else. If we want happiness, just offer it with a smile to any one of God’s children and it’s ours to keep forever. If we want to enjoy a calm and quiet moment we only need lift it from our heart and place it in someone else’s. Love and forgiveness are gifts that generate miracles of healing from one to another. We cannot give them away without keeping them for ourselves. And in fact, as we give them they grow. If we give a gentle smile and offer a kindness to another those gifts can be paid forward and increased a thousand fold at the same time as they stay with us. The energy from a gift of Love can ripple out far beyond our immediate world and cause joy and healing in places we cannot imagine.

On the other hand, this simple law of cause and effect can backfire if we don’t use it wisely. If we want a cup of anger, we need just offer it to our neighbor and it’s ours to keep.  If we want a pot of suffering and misery, we can simply pour it over our brother’s head.  If we want a pile of guilt, we can wrap it up in black paper, tie it with a bitter bow and give it to our sister and voila! It’s ours.

So today let’s give only what we want; an overflowing cup of gratitude, a flowering pot of generosity, a seed of simple niceness. Let’s pray this prayer together, “To everyone I offer Love and Peace and Joy from my open heart because I want them for myself.”  And now the world is healed.

Sharing them with everyone along the way.

“I will not deny the truth of me today.”

Our thoughts should be:

I am happy because happiness is my natural state of being.

I love and am loved because God is Love and God is all there is.

I forgive the past and surrender the future because in so doing I will find  peace right here, right now. 

I am at peace in my relationships, happy in my work and joyous in my play. I never forget to play.

I am on my spiritual path even if I don’t recognize it. I will know I am following my path when I feel, more and more often, a smile of gratitude growing inside me; a calm and quiet knowing flowing through me.

I have no choice but to be what I really am; God’s light in the world. I am ready to let it shine.

Since I have no choice but to be a Light, I might as well let go of everything that blocks it and allow it to radiate free.

Deny yourself no longer, Beloved Child of God, and you will surge forth, and soar upward to the heavens of this world where joy fills your being, and where your heart is lifted up to Him Who owns it and where peace is your every day experience.

“Healing is always certain.” A Course in Miracles

“I will let God’s Holy Current flow through me today.”

I was making banana bread and the electric mixer wouldn’t work.  It had worked a few minutes before, but now it was dead.  I played with it awhile and then checked the outlet.  It had only come unplugged. Once I plugged it in again, I was back in business and my banana bread was soon in the oven emitting delicious smells.

Have we ever had the experience where we thought something was broken only to find it was just unplugged?  Maybe we think something is wrong with us and with our lives and we search for solutions everywhere, but we forget to check the plug. Let’s plug back in; plug into our true power which is the loving energy within us; the energy from God that makes all corrections while it balances and harmonizes our life. The wires for our healing are right inside the walls of our own being.

No matter how terrible the world seems at times, God’s Love can heal it.  Let’s pray: “I place my trust in the power of God”, over and over until we believe it.  Then see our bodies healthy and our world filled with joy and peace.  See all our addictions fall away and feel laughter fill us as we now understand, we are not alone.  There is a power within us that only needs our willingness to plug into it.

Though these corrections may not happen instantly, at least now we are taking the first steps toward healing our lives. Plugging in will lead us onto the proper path and from there we will find the power of the Universe at our disposal where help is always available.

Electricity is always there, but we can’t turn the light on until we plug it in. God is our constant and eternal outlet for the truth about us. Let’s plug into Him and let His Holy Current flow through us. Let’s plug into Him and receive our inheritance of love, abundance, peace, health, joy and healing.

“Today I will remember that our Oneness is our power.”

No matter what you’re going through, no matter what fears you fear or what challenges you face, I will hold you in the light of your own truth knowing that our Truth is the power in which we walk this world together.

Hand in hand in hand in hand we encompass the earth and fill the skies, the oceans, the peaks and valleys of this world with our Holiness.

No one is ever alone for we have each other. Our oneness is our power, our glory is in God. Nothing beautiful and joyful and loving is every denied us. God’s laws of abundance and health and perfect safety are the laws we will obey.

Let’s watch now as our minds open to the wonders of God’s miracles flowing in constant streams throughout our lives in ways both small and large yet all the same to Him.

Feel a new earth energy as our hearts fill with God’s powerful Love that pours over us and through us and is all around us, a glorious and delicious experience that never stops. Not even for an instant.

We know with every fiber of our being that what we are seeing is simply our own true Self. Nothing new. Nothing that hasn’t always been from ancient times until now. We are just experiencing the wonder of awareness. The desire to place our trust where it belongs. The ability to remember what we forgot.   Our reality is God. And God is Love and God is all there is.

Each morning as we arise and each night as we retire, we begin and end our day spending a moment remembering our oneness as we walk hand in hand in hand in hand with each other and heart to heart with God. ”For when they joined their hands it was also God’s hand they took …” 

“He needs only your willingness to share His perspective to give it to you completely. And your willingness need not be complete because His is perfect.” A Course In Miracles

“I will offer God my little willingness today.”

God does not expect perfection, only a little willingness and He will do the rest.

Together, let’s take the hand of God and let Him lift us up above the fray.  And from this higher place, let’s rest in His Love and in His Light and smile with relief and gratitude that our suffering is done and Love has taken its place this moment and every single time we choose it.  And we choose it every time we say, “I want to be at peace.”

God does not expect perfection, only a little willingness and He will do the rest.

Let us try to be aware and mindful in each moment. Let us see the love in our partner’s smile, the glory in a ray of sunlight raining down upon a blade of grass, the blessings of the world through God’s Holy vision. Let us hear the joy in a child’s laughter, the sound of a haunting melody that reaches our heart and reminds us we are one with all the Universe.

Let us enjoy the deliciousness of a homemade soup savoring each ingredient, the juicy tang of a crisp fall apple, the taste of life at its fullest. Let us feel the light touch of a feather’s tickle, the smoothness of a cool, clean sheet, the calm presence of a peaceful moment.

Let us delight in the sweet aroma of a baby’s just washed hair, the air’s clean smell after a spring rain, an aromatic candle during a quiet meditation.

We often get so caught up with the busyness of life that we forget to allow the spaces in between. It is the space between the conversations, activities, the plans, the TV, the ipod and the cell phone, where our real Self exists.

Our true life is lived in the quiet moments 
Where silence stills our thoughts and 
Heals our heart’s pain. 
This is where we are at home in God.

May you walk in holy stillness today and LIVE your TRUTH in the quiet lane with God.

“I am under no laws but God’s.” A Course In Miracles

“I will focus only on God’s truth today.”

We may say to someone, “Tell me the truth.” What we are really saying is tell me the facts as you perceive them or even as I perceive them for you.  There is little truth in facts because they are based upon perception.  Every person witnessing a situation will see the facts in a different way and will believe they are telling the truth. 

God’s Truth is His Law and governs far beyond the laws of this world. God’s Truth is something that is beyond description and comes from pure Love. It enters into the realm of Being at its highest and aligns our minds with God’s in the truest sense. 

We get little ripples of this now and then, tiny glimpses here and there. But most of us are not yet ready to stay in this state for any extended period of time.  When we are in Truth we are experiencing life in total Love.  Peace lays itself at our feet and Light transforms the world and everyone here into perfection.  In Truth we are incapable of seeing anything apart from God. God simply Is and only our Oneness with Him and with each other is real to us.  This is our Holy goal and when we reach it all Heaven and Earth will be One.   In Truth.

“I will love and trust in myself today.”

Trust that you can love and believe in yourself

Without fear or denial of your own truth.

Trust in the beauty and in the goodness that lives in you and in everyone.

Trust in your holiness.

Trust in your innocence.

Trust in the YOU that walks with Angels and happily blesses the world.

Trust in your gentle smile that spreads joy to all who receive it.

Trust in the knowing that true peace lives quietly and constantly inside you.

Trust that believing in yourself as a light in the world

Is true humility because this is God’s thought of you.

Trust that you are worthy of health and abundance, peace and joy and love

And so is everyone.

Trust that God created you Holy and Whole.
Trust that God needs you to be His teacher for peace NOW.

May you walk in peace today trusting you are blessed and can bless by simply being YOU.

Envision yourself as light.
See your light shining everywhere.

Breathe in and out slowly repeating these affirmations:

I see myself in the light of kindness.
I see myself in the light of patience.
I see myself in the light of compassion.
I see myself in the light of forgiveness.
I see myself in the light of purest joy.

Just BE your SELF today.
And then do it again tomorrow.

“Through forgiveness I will knock down all barriers to my peace today.”

If we are having some challenges with someone in our life, spouse, partner, sibling, parent, friend, co-worker, it is time to remember once again that it is through our relationships we will be healed. 

If there is a barricade between us, it’s one we both put there.  No one in a relationship can build a barricade alone.  And no one can knock it down alone.  So let’s get two sledge hammers and start knocking. The barricade is anger, hurt, frustration, sadness, guilt. The sledge hammers are forgiveness. At some point we just have to forgive each other and start over. That’s not always easy, but it’s always worth it.  When we heal our relationships, we heal our entire lives.

If the other person isn’t ready, we can remove ourselves from the fray and agree to disagree. This may have to be an internal gesture at first, but by allowing ourselves to be lifted above the battleground, we are letting God be in charge.  A simple prayer for help will open our hearts and minds to hearing God’s guidance.  When we open a channel for His thinking, He can tell us what to do and what to say to make corrections that will be helpful to all.  And at the very least, we can find peace in God even in the midst of chaos. 

There is only one side here and that is God’s. And He doesn’t take sides. In God there is only sharing and joining in Oneness. But we have to be willing to see ourselves and our relationships differently.  A little willingness is all God asks of us for His power to flow through.

“But the dark journey is not the way of God’s Children. The Children of God were created of light and in light. In God the light is here and the way is clear.” A Course In Miracles

“I will choose to see things differently today.” 

Problems arise when we get stuck in a place where we don’t belong. When we can’t stand back or detach and see that what we are doing or thinking isn’t getting positive results. Instead of moving on or up, we stay where we are and just do the same old thing, only harder and louder and more.  War is a good example.  War doesn’t work and yet we can’t seem to move on from that concept that if we just kill each other louder, harder and more violently it will produce peace. Peace never comes from war. Peace is never the result of trying to control another.

Peace comes when we take the first step in going inward and asking for a better way.  Peace comes in releasing the past and saying I’m ready to begin to see this differently. I’m ready for a new way of thinking. We can’t do it alone because any solution or answer we will come up with on our own is based upon our past experience.  

Now, we need to simply grow quiet and ask for help and then be still and listen. Listen to the place within each of us where new and better answers silently await.  There has to be an element of trust in this quiet asking and listening.  We have to have a tiny inkling that there is a way we haven’t explored and even though we don’t know what it is, somewhere inside us the answers lie.

This gentle opening of our mind and heart will raise us to a higher level of peace because these answers that rest within us come not from fear, but from Love.  Not from egos wanting swift and dramatic justice, but from God Who teaches us that there is a better way. If we would only let Him walk before us and guide our steps and thoughts, we would be led on a path that actually works. It may or may not be swift and dramatic, but it certainly would be joyous and forever. In Him all our problems have been solved.

 “I will let God color my world today.”

As a child takes a few crayons and painstakingly colors a rainbow on a blank sheet of paper, let us take a few thoughts and color light and love and joy upon a blank mind.

but fluffy white and far away. The common vision of a world
created by an innocent child. The simplicity is clear. The love is implicit. It may not always be the world the child lives in. But it is the world the child wants.

In God’s eyes we are that innocent child.  And the loving world we want is the world He wants for us. Not the dark world with splashes of light here and there that we think is our home, but the colorful, constant light-filled one we really want.

God’s will and ours are the same.  God’s world and ours are the same as well. All we need do is remember our innocence and color our thinking in harmony with His.

Let our prayer be, “Father let me see your world today.”  And then grow still and let God’s world emerge as we watch the suffering world we made, quietly disappear as darkness always does when light is shined upon it.

Simplicity does not mean living a limited life.
Instead it means living fully, guided by God’s quiet grace,
free of fear and with all cares laid aside. 
The simplicity is in God.

“I will obsess over Oneness today.”

We all suffer from obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) to one degree or another.  If we think we don’t, let’s look closely at ourselves. Do we not try to keep things to ourselves when we could share?  Do we not worry about germs and sickness and death?  About being in control? About the dangers in the world? About what could go wrong or could have gone wrong even if it turns out right in the end? Do we not go crazy over what we hear on the news?  What about politics? Or religion? What about when our team wins? Or loses? Don’t we get a bit obsessed over that? What about our need to be right? Isn’t that a pretty strong obsession in most of us?

What if we obsessed in favor of giving instead of wanting and keeping?  What if we obsessed about blessing the team that lost?  Or won? What if we obsessed about our Oneness instead of our differences? What if we obsessed about being happy instead of being right? What if we obsessed about believing in our health instead of our sickness? What if we obsessed about life instead of death? What if we obsessed about the good news instead of the bad? What if we obsessed about the one hundred compliments instead of the single insult?  What if we obsessed over safety instead of danger and what went right instead of what went wrong? Or what could go right instead of what could go wrong? What if we obsessed over joy?  What if we obsessed about walking in the light of our own Truth?

What would life be like for us if we turned all of our obsessions around and obsessed over love instead of fear? I would like to see that world, wouldn’t you? And a new wellness would be born.

We could call it OCG (Obsessive Compulsive Gratitude).

“Today I will rest in God where I am at home.”

Come Home and recognize yourself.  You’re the one dancing in delight while miracles rain down upon you.  Don’t worry about a shortage. There are miracles for everyone. And the more we share them, the more they multiply. 

Now that you’re here, don’t you agree that Home is a most lovely place to be?  Feel how it feels to be whole and perfect and at one with everyone and all the Universe.  Breathe it in, absorb it into your very being. 

And tell all the world the secret, THERE IS NO SECRET.  God is not a mystery. He doesn’t work in mysterious ways.  Why would He? He wants us to know Him.  He wants it to be clear that He is right beside us out in the open and ready to show us our own truth, our own beautiful spirit, our loving Home right here on earth.  This is the place where love springs eternal and joy is an ordinary, natural occurrence that is happening constantly and manifests as love and light, pure and simple and no mystery at all. 

Only through God’s Love can we see the world as blessed. Let’s leave mysteries behind and come home where we belong.
