To truly see yourself, don’t look in the mirror, look inside your heart. Don’t measure yourself by the opinions and judgments of others. Measure yourself by God’s Grace and His Light in you. That is where your beauty lies; where your kindness, your empathy and your generosity abide. This is where your voice sings arias to the Angels and you are able, in calm and quiet peace, to listen to the silence of God’s own Heart speaking constantly of your holiness.

You are an artist of the spirit, a poet of the soul, a creation of delight and joy, at one with all the Universe. Inside you Love lives, a constant flame to be fanned by trust and shared with all. And it is there that healing is always happening.

Look and laugh and rejoice at your true nature, your real Self and see your Truth. If you find your vision blocked by fear, anger, sadness, anxiety, worry … LOOK AGAIN!  And choose another way of seeing. Remember, we see what we invite or allow in to our space. So invite in Truth and be grateful for your sweet essence and your holy presence.  The truth will set you free.

Now you are an instrument of peace and a teacher of God.  Now you are serving your purpose as a healer of the world.

Every prayer of the heart is answered clearly and instantly though we may not realize it. The noise and density of the world and our clouded thinking may keep us from our answers. Our personal expectations and our fears limit our hearing almost to nothing at times.

Nevertheless God’s Truth shines loud and clear even when we’re unaware. Only a calm and quiet heart and an open, accepting mind can hear the answers that we seek so desperately. And yet they are as near as the air we breathe and live constantly inside us. Just like God Himself.

We are reassured that hallucinations of an insane world end with God. From this place of Love we see what wondrous ideas come to us that we have never thought before; answers to questions, solutions to problems that we kept hidden because we forgot to let Him be our guide. There is a loving answer for everything.  No exceptions.  But to access the answers we must be quiet; listening and watchful for the miracles all around us. “God is only Love and therefore so am I.” A Course In Miracles

Our clouded thinking makes us forget. “You are entitled to miracles because of what you are. You will receive miracles because of what God is. And you will offer miracles because you are one with God.”  A Course In Miracles

“Choose once again if you would take your place among the saviors of the world…” A Course In Miracles

“Help me choose again today.”

The beauty of our power from God is that we can choose again. In every moment of every day and in every relationship and every experience we can make another choice.

If we have felt fear or anger, guilt or sadness or judgment we can ask for help to see everything and everyone differently.

When we ask for help we must then be still and listen for the answers. God always has the answer and it’s always the right answer; the only answer.  His answer provides resolutions that bring peace and healing to every side.  What we can’t see, He will gladly show us.

God’s answer brings peace and joy to us and to all. His answer floods our hearts with pure love. This is the Love that guides us on our path and lights our way to fulfilling our holy destiny.

This is the Love that shows us a different world from the one we thought we knew. This Love rewrites our story giving us not just a happy ending, but a glorious beginning and middle too. This Love ensures there is no ending just a happy now.

All the answers to all our questions are in God. His Answer shows us that our questions are too small. His Answer encompasses our Holy truth and gently guides us on a path where only miracles are found.

As we take His hand and offer ourselves to Him for guidance, words dissolve, concerns are gone, darkness disappears and only Light remains. In that stillness that fills our being us, we understand what we didn’t understand before. All good things are not only possible, but are actually accomplished.

And all we need do is choose again.

“Let this day be a day of stillness and of quiet listening.” A Course In Miracles

When we ask for help, answers will be given us.

But we must listen without urgency.

We must question without expectations.

We must wait without time constraints.

We must trust without limits.

We must see through God’s eyes only.

If we tell God what we want instead of letting Him tell us, we are closing the channel to His Perfect answer and He can’t give us what we really need. What we really need is what we really want, but we don’t always know it until it is given us. We think we know and we scurry here and there trying to make things go “our” way. But we can’t manipulate perfection and trying only gets us in trouble. Or at the very least gives us less than we deserve and not what we really want at all.

Our plans must be made with Him to be the perfect plans.  Listening is the only way to hear His Plan for us.

“I will welcome God today.” 

The ego tells us to conquer the world; to defend ourselves and protect ourselves no matter what the cost.  God wants us to allow Him to transform us and the world.  No conquering necessary. How can the ego fight God and His Divine Universe?  The Divine Universe doesn’t even recognize the ego.  It simply sees through it like looking through fog to the Light of Love beyond.

Love and fear don’t live together. Love lives on the inside. Fear lives on the outside.  The power for miracles and healing is within.  It’s as simple as that. Trust in Him and God will lay down our arms and replace them with Love. He will take the wheel and free us to enjoy the ride.  He will gently lift us above the fray and transform our experiences to be loving and joyous and perfect.  And this will be done with great kindness and deep compassion. Now war is done and only Love lives on.

“I will keep the faith and ask God for guidance today.”

In times like these all we can do is keep the faith.

Have faith that no matter how it looks Love is more powerful than fear.

Have faith that God is here quietly making corrections.

Have faith that forgiveness heals and kindness works miracles.

Have faith that we must be the peacemakers, the eye of the storm, the quiet center where healing flows through.

Have faith that because violence breeds violence getting angry only makes things worse.

Have faith that even if our heart is broken God can and will mend it.

Have faith that our thoughts are powerful, so we must choose them wisely.

Have faith that healing love is flowing through this world at a powerful rate even if we can’t see it with the naked eye.

Have faith that losing a loved one, though excruciatingly painful for us, is simply a transition for them.

Have faith that the past, the present and the future are in God’s Hands if we will give them all to Him.

Have faith, not in the insanity of the world, but in the Sanity of a Loving, Living God.

“I am under no laws but God’s.” A Course In Miracles

“I will bless myself by blessing everyone today.”

Remember the old saying, anger and fear are the same as drinking poison and expecting the other person to die.  Now, isn’t that an insane way to live?

We are not separate from our sisters and our brothers. We cannot wish to take something from someone else and not find ourselves feeling deprived. We cannot wish ill upon anyone and not bring ill upon ourselves.  We cannot judge another without judging ourselves. It is not a punishment, but simply the Divine Law of Oneness. It’s like severing a finger or knocking ourselves over the head with a rock. Why would we do that? It’s gonna hurt because it is our own self we are attacking.

By this same law we cannot bless anyone without blessing ourselves.  We cannot truly love another without bestowing this same love upon our own self.

The Basic Law of Oneness is from God. How we choose to use it belongs to us. And therein lies our power which we call free will. Use God’s Law as He intended it in forgiveness, kindness and compassion then happiness and abundance will be forever ours. It’s only when we use our free will in a way that God did not choose that we get ourselves in trouble. It’s not God’s will that we hurt ourselves by hurting others. He doesn’t even understand it. And why would He? It makes no sense.

Feel everything going right today as you go about your day with calm and quiet confidence, an open mind and loving heart happily obeying God’s Law of Oneness.

“I am willing to fly today.”

Why crawl with caterpillars when we can soar as butterflies?  It is necessary to be a caterpillar and a cocoon before we can be a butterfly. It’s all part of the learning, growing process. But sometimes, out of fear, we stay in the caterpillar and cocoon stage much longer than we should. How long must we trap ourselves in a cocoon? When it becomes painful, that may be our sign that it is time to learn to fly.  

What if we breathe into that feeling of being trapped and constricted and frustrated and envision something else? Freedom. Not just freedom of the body, but freedom of the mind and heart.  Now, we are allowing a new and holy vision of ourselves. This vision leads beyond caterpillars and beyond cocoons.

Let’s let our minds grow still and our hearts become calm as we smile at the beauty of this new experience in this moment, on this higher plane. Now let’s come back to earth, look around us with new eyes and see, not a small creature that crawls, nor one stuck in a cocoon of fear and doubt, but a beautiful and wondrous creation who is capable of flying to greater heights than we ever knew.

In experiences we may all be at the caterpillar stage or the cocoon stage or the butterfly stage at different times and then go back and forth again and again.  It isn’t our job to judge the different stages of our brothers’ and sisters’ learning, growing process or even our own.  Our true job is to be a light in the world, an example of kindness and forgiveness, an instrument of peace. And one day we will look up and the sky will be amassed with beautiful winged creatures. And we will be among them.

“Forgiveness is the only sane response. It keeps your rights from being sacrificed.” A Course In Miracles

“My heart surrenders and forgives all things today.”

Forgiveness is the opposite of judgment. Forgiveness means surrendering everything to God. Forgiveness is living in the light, breathing in the beauty of the world and allowing our blessings to flow and flow and flow. It’s not about condoning, it’s about compassion.

It’s about letting go of the past and living fully in each moment. It’s about praying, “God, I don’t know what this is all about so I give it to you for Your Holy Understanding.” We mustn’t be afraid to let go of all we think we need to cling to here. Clinging to our past thinking is what causes all our pain. Letting go frees us to fly.

To protect ourselves, we grasp onto our fears and judgments with tight fists. We are terrified that letting them go will be the cause of our destruction. We will not be punished for surrendering our fears and judgments. Instead, we will be rewarded with joyful and amazing experiences filled with miracles. The only true justice is God’s justice and it is nothing like our own for it comes from pure Love and nothing else.

Let’s remember our protection is in God, not in ourselves. As a Child of His Light, we are so far above our petty thinking that it is inconceivable that we should allow one unkind or unloving thought to keep us imprisoned in pain a moment longer.

If we understood who we really are, we would gladly let all the nonsense go and fall to our knees with tears of gratitude. His light would wash away all darkness, pain and suffering caused by our tight fisted attachment to our silly judgments of ourselves and others. We think we know everything, when actually we know nothing. All that is asked of us is a tiny willingness to let go of what we do not know and do not want or think we need while we walk with Him in happy peace and in calm and quiet confidence.

We are not our bodies, we are spirit. But we have a responsibility to love and care for our bodies. Our bodies are here to serve a purpose in helping make the world a better place and our lives easier if we allow it. We must enjoy our body and value it, not for its size or shape or gender, but for its true design. 

Our smiles can express kindness and love.
Our voices can speak for those who can’t.
Our eyes can radiate joy.
Our hands can offer help and hope.
Our arms can hug a child or a sad or frightened friend.
Our feet can take us wherever we are needed.

Our hearts and minds can be open to great possibilities for joy and love. 

We should eat with healthy enjoyment. We should exercise until it feels good. We should play with delight and laugh freely. We should speak gently, breathe deeply and think lightly. We should work with purpose and a sense of fun. We should take the time to smell the sweet alyssum, breathe in the beauty and feel the textures of life. When we use our bodies in this way, we will always be beautiful.

May your body carry you wherever God wants you today.

YES, I will see my loved ones as the lights of my life.

YES, I will see the beauty in my spirit.

YES, I will stop and experience nature knowing it is free.
YES, I will believe I am not this body and this body is not me.
YES, I will accept I am Holy and Beloved beyond this world.
YES, I will use my body as an instrument of peace.
YES, I will enjoy the world without guilt.
YES, I will welcome everyone with an open mind.
YES, I will trust that there are possibilities for joy in every experience.
YES, I will forgive every grievance for my own peace of mind.
YES, I will not be afraid to be open to joy knowing joy is my truth.

“I will walk and see and be in gratitude today.”

In music and in poetry and art are we connected. In work and play we can recognize our holiness. In silence and in trust we shine our love upon the world and heal us all. Everything seen through a lens of kindness and compassion and forgiveness will show us our oneness clearly. In quiet and in listening, not just to words, but to hearts as well, do we know each other’s truth.

Let us join together in gratitude as we dance a joyous step and raise our voices in songs of praise to God and to each other. In this way, we will see us in our light, a thing of beauty, holy, whole and innocent.

Hand in hand and heart to heart, we walk through a garden of glorious color surrounded by heavenly scents and sounds. The smiles on our faces lift us up and fill us to overflowing with peace and joy and perfect health and God’s abundance. Now we know that God is real and the rest is just a dream.

The truth is God is Love and God is All there is. Love is the way we walk in gratitude and our gratitude has changed our life.

“I will do my real job today.”

If we think of God as the Employer and ourselves as the employee and the product as Happiness, then unless we manufacture Happiness in its highest sense, we are not doing our job. It’s time to set aside our small aspirations involving grievances, sadness and anger, judgment and guilt or worldly things and earthly power and ask God what the real goal is.

God’s Office is always open. His Plan is the only One that will serve the world and provide the Holy Health Care, the perfect Child Care, the amazing Salary and all the Abundance and Benefits that Heaven can offer.  All we need do is agree to His Terms and choose Happiness as the product we want to invest in. Happiness will make us rich in every way.

We are not meant to serve in our own self designed cubicles. We are meant to serve in limitless and eternal joy. Let’s quietly close the door on our belief in failure from the past and open the window of opportunity in this moment. As we make the conscious choice to make happiness our real job, the world will change before our eyes.  Now, we will live and work in a happy place created from our own thoughts. And our real Boss will provide Bonuses that will delight us. We will be amazed at how easy it is to create Happiness. And how quickly sharing it with others will magnify and increase it for ourselves.

Let’s open our minds to a new way of thinking, a new way of being. Let’s allow the feeling of the breezes of enlightenment to blow away all that keeps us stuck; stuck in fear, stuck in anger, stuck in sickness, stuck in pain and sadness.

There is a gentle tap on our shoulder, a soft kiss upon our cheek as we are gently awakened from our long dreams of separation; separation from our own truth, separation from our brothers and sisters and separation from God. All we had forgotten is remembered now.

God is Love and God is all there is.

Tendrils of tenderness wind themselves around our heart and the world is changed because of our remembering. Instead of judging ourselves and others harshly, now we only want to hold each other close and comfort our self and everyone with these loving words, “It was just a dream, Dear Heart. It’s all over and we are now awake. Awake to live and breathe and walk in the light of our own truth.”

Miracles are raining all around us and we lift our faces to receive them in joyous wonder. All is beautiful as we go about our days in this new land that we know is really ancient and was created long before time began. We have had our time of lessons in the form of troubles and challenges and burdens. Now we are walking in the place that God created which is Heaven here on earth.

All because we have chosen to understand with all our heart and soul that God is only Love and God is all there is.

“Love is the way I walk in gratitude.” A Course In Miracles

“I will walk and see and be in gratitude today.”

In music and in poetry and art are we connected. In work and play we can recognize our holiness. In silence and in trust we shine our love upon the world and heal us all. Everything seen through a lens of kindness and compassion and forgiveness will show us our oneness clearly. In quiet and in listening, not just to words, but to hearts as well, do we know each other’s truth.

Let us join together in gratitude as we dance a joyous step and raise our voices in songs of praise to God and to each other. In this way, we will see us in our light, a thing of beauty, holy, whole and innocent.

Hand in hand and heart to heart, we walk through a garden of glorious color surrounded by heavenly scents and sights and sounds. The smiles on our faces lift us up and fill us to overflowing with peace and joy and perfect health and God’s abundance. Now we know that God is real and the rest is just a dream.

The truth is God is Love and God is All there is. Love is the way we walk in gratitude and our gratitude has changed our life.
