“I will choose Light and Peace today in all things.”

Light in the spiritual sense is an internal thing.  Unlike the sun, the moon and the stars, it shines eternally within us.  It can be a quiet sense of knowing or well being or a glorious radiance of happy wonder that emanates from our very core.

When our light is allowed, it shines on everything in our path. No thoughts of darkness or fear, no worry or anxiety can disturb our peace in this light. It comes from our true being, from God that lives in each of us.  It cannot be turned off with a switch, but can only be temporarily forgotten or hidden behind a fog of misunderstanding when we place our focus elsewhere.

Light like joy is a choice.  It can be chosen in each moment and in every experience.  When we choose Light in everything, all answers come to us as soon as the questions are asked.  All obstacles are removed from our path because our light simply shines them away.  It’s important to understand that to truly experience our light we must also choose to see it in others.

Light cannot be contained, but only hidden behind the clouds for a time. As soon as we choose to brush the clouds away, there it is, LIGHT.  God is the source of our Light. Created in His likeness we are His Light in the world. Constant and eternal and forever our Light shines like a beacon for healing and happiness.  Let’s join ourselves in our own Light today and be at peace from this moment on.

Let our prayer be for healing and health and safety for all the world. Let us ask for help with kindness and love and trust to generate the health and wellness, safety and peace of mind we want for every man, woman and child on earth. And then let us be grateful and say Thank You, God!
