Sending Joy

Let’s let joy flow like water over a stony brook. The water, clear as crystal, is not hampered by the stones, but only washes over them and travels on. In this way should our thoughts flow unhindered by the world’s challenges. Let our thoughts come through from a clear and loving place moving steadily through everything we do not want. And just as the brook polishes each stone that it courses over so our mind’s forgiving thoughts can smooth away any obstacles that try to trip us up and restrict us on our spirit’s journey into peace.

Every challenge now becomes a stepping stone toward truth. An opportunity to learn and grow. A lesson that we look at without concern and recognize as something helpful for which we can be grateful. Now we smile gently as the world becomes a simple place with God in charge as we rest in Him and let it all flow free.
