Sending Joy

Let our prayer be for all those communities on earth that are suffering tragedies and disasters beyond human understanding. And then let us pray for healing of spirit, mind and body for all those left behind.  Let us ask for help with kindness and love and trust to generate the health and wellness, safety and peace of mind we want for every child of God on earth. And even though gratitude may not be on our mind right now, let us trust that those who have left us are safe and at peace in God. And for that we can be grateful as we say as one, Thank You, Heavenlly Source of Oneness!

God’s grace is constant like the sun. It is we who change and move close then move away and back again in a dance of alternating fear and joy. When we think God isn’t listening or helping it’s because we’ve plugged our own ears and turned away from Him. Often without even knowing what we’re doing. We blindfold ourselves to the truth. God is always open and accessible and there for us, but we are full of secrets from the past and anxieties about the future. 

We put up protective defenses and cloud our experiences of God’s grace by our lack of trust and our determination to remain separate and independent not only from our Source but also from each other. We celebrate Independence Day which is fine, but what if we also had a Oneness Day? And that day was every day?

The time always comes that we crave our holiness and His gentleness and grace and our Oneness once again. This can’t be helped. We can’t fight or hide from our own Truth indefinitely. We can’t ignore our light and His gifts to us forever. At some point, we must grow still and breathe in the Holy Air of God. We must rest gratefully in God’s blessedness and thank Him for His Holy Presence in our lives. We must because it is only then we can feel whole and healed. We want that feeling. We know somewhere within ourselves that God’s Love is all that we can trust. The simple truth is that we are a ray of God’s constant Light and we are only happy in those moments when we look within and remember that.

Let’s envision ourselves on a swing. As we swing closer to the Light we experience the glory of God’s Love. When we swing away we experience the fears of the world. But if we ask for His help, God will gently remove us from the swing and keep us in the safety of His Light forever; right inside His Heart where we belong. And now we breathe freely and as we bask in the Light and Grace and Oneness of our own truth we can’t stop smiling as we remember, “I am as God created me.” A Course In Miracles  One with Him and all of His  Creations.
