Think of happiness as a flowering plant. The flower is the expression of that happiness, but it is the root that needs to be nourished before the flower can bloom. Where is the root? Down deep and in the dark recesses of the earth. In us, it is the deep recesses of our heart that must be nourished before the smile on our face can bloom. Let’s focus today on nourishing our heart with the fresh, cool waters of kindness and forgiveness. As we radiate those attributes from our heart, not only will our smile bloom, but we will also be nourishing the hearts of those around us and making beautiful smiles bloom wherever we go.

And that’s a miracle. That is a quiet walk with God in the garden of His Truth. In the world we may have our differences, but in God’s Truth we are one. There are many different types of flowers, but in the end they are all flowers.

Let our prayer be for healing and health and safety for all the world. Let us ask for help with kindness and love and trust to generate the health and wellness, safety and peace of mind we want for every man, woman and child on earth. And then let us be grateful and say Thank You, God!
