Sending Joy

If we choose to be kind, we cannot qualify that decision with thoughts of only under certain conditions. I will be kind unless someone bugs me or is mean to me or says something thoughtless or does something I don’t like. To challenge others with the idea of ‘Just because I am kind, don’t think I am a pushover.” Or “Just because I’m kind, doesn’t mean I won’t fight for my rights or the rights of others.”

It doesn’t work that way. Kindness is a power, one of the greatest powers we possess. In kindness, we are strong and protected by the Divine Love of God. It doesn’t matter what others do or think or say to us, kindness cuts through the negativity like a laser light that disperses darkness and opens up a channel for God to work through us, using us as His Holy Healers.

Kindness transcends the fear and pain and sadness of the world and lifts us up to a mountaintop of Holy Healing where we cannot be affected by the ego fears of a lower world that no longer serves us. When we are truly kind, we never feel provoked to attack back or to protect ourselves from dark illusions.  In true kindness we only feel … kind.

In kindness we understand that others attacks of unkind words or actions toward us are not the truth of them, so we don’t feel anything but kindness toward them no matter what is happening. We feel only compassion as they act out their fears and pain upon us. This may seem impossible, but through the power of God nothing is impossible. We may need to leave a dangerous situation or get help from outside sources, but even still when we have calmed down, we can be kind in our minds and in our hearts.

We have no idea how much love and healing we generate through our simple acts, words and thoughts of kindness.  But God knows. And we are blessed as His teachers and His channels in the world.

Prayers for all those who may be experiencing extreme weather conditions, hurricanes and tsunamis, fires or floods anywhere in this world.  Also blizzards and extreme cold. Our loving thoughts are with you. May God keep you safe and transform the extremes into harmony and balance. 

Let our prayer be for healing and health for all the world. Let us ask for help with kindness and love and trust to generate the health and wellness, safety and peace of mind we want for every man, woman and child on earth. And then let us be grateful and say Thank You, God!
