The flame of a single candle can light the world. 

Envision yourself standing in the center of the Universe holding up a lit candle. Watch its uncertain flickering flame become stronger and more steady as you gain in strength of understanding and trust in your power as a Creation of God. Quietly watch your candle as more and more, it lights you from within to the very core of your being.  All around you are the unlit candles of others who have not yet learned what you now know.

The unlit candles represent the darkness, fear and sadness, hopelessness and anger that permeates the being of so many in this world. Whenever we try to fix a thing through our limiting fears and hopeless negativity, without inviting God in, without joining lovingly with all God’s children, our candles remain unlit and separate.

We can’t see what we are meant to see. The Truth is Light not darkness.  The Truth is Hope not hopelessness.  The Truth is joy, not sadness. The Truth is Peace not anger. The Truth is Love not fear. The Truth is Health not sickness.

Now see yourself once more, standing in the light of your beautifully lit candle and hold out your flame as you invite others to light their candles by joining your flame with theirs. And as each child of God comes before you and you offer your flame watch each candle as it is kindled by your holy light.

See the flames spread like a flowing river of glorious light as more and more are awakened to the awareness that fear and sadness, hopelessness, anger and darkness disappear as God’s Children, one by one join with you at their heart center and light their candle from yours. And you will be aware as well, how powerful is one lit candle in a world that needs Peace and Love through joining in Oneness and Light. Be witness to the healing of the world through one open heart and the single flame of one lit candle.

And that’s how miracles happen.  One candle, one person, one heart at a time.

Prayers for all those who may be experiencing extreme weather conditions including, hurricanes and tsunamis, fires or floods, blizzards or blistering heat anywhere in this world. Our loving thoughts are with you. May God keep you safe and transform the extremes into harmony and balance. 

Let our prayer be for healing and health for all the world. Let us ask for help with kindness and love and trust to generate the health and wellness, safety and peace of mind we want for every man, woman and child on earth. And then let us be grateful and say Thank You, God!
